‘Refer a Friend’ Terms & Conditions

We love connecting great people with great roles. To keep our referral scheme fair and straightforward, here are the guidelines:

1. Who Counts as a New Referral?

• The person you refer must not have registered, applied for a role, or been interviewed by Younity in the past 12 months.
• If we are already actively working with them, they are considered an active candidate, and the referral reward won’t apply.
• The person you refer must be a real person who is actively looking for work, and you must have their permission to share their details with us.

2. The Placement & Timelines

To qualify for the reward, the person you refer must be placed into a role by Younity within 6 months of your referral. The minimum durations for these roles are:

• Permanent roles: Full placement.
• Fixed Term Contracts: A minimum term of 6 months.
• Contract placements: A minimum term of 3 months.

3. When is the Reward Paid?

We want to ensure the placement is a great fit for everyone. The reward will be sent out once your referred candidate has successfully completed:

• 6 months in a permanent or fixed-term role.
• 3 months in a contract role.

4. The Reward

The referral reward is a $300 NZD Prezzy Card.

5. Privacy & Honest Information

• Getting Permission: Before you share anyone’s details with us, you must have their explicit permission to do so.
• Our Privacy Commitment: Once you submit a referral, Younity will contact the candidate to let them know they’ve been referred and to confirm they are happy to proceed. We will handle all personal information in strict accordance with the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and our Privacy Policy.
• Accuracy: Both you and the candidate need to ensure all information provided to Younity is true, accurate, and complete. If any information is found to be false, misleading, or missing important details, Younity reserves the right to withhold the reward.

6. The Fine Print

• Younity employees and their immediate families are not eligible to receive referral rewards.
• All decisions made by Younity regarding referral rewards are final.
