The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to lead the technology delivery function across enterprise-wide programmes and projects within one of New Zealand’s leading banks.
You will play a critical role in improving delivery effectiveness, investment outcomes, and ways of working, while operating in a highly regulated environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end technology delivery function across major programmes and initiatives
- Improve delivery processes, consistency, and transparency across the portfolio
- Optimise investment spend while maintaining delivery quality and regulatory compliance
- Challenge existing practices and embed fit-for-purpose delivery standards
- Apply a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style to drive real outcomes
- Oversee portfolio, programme governance, risk, and compliance within a regulated environment
- Influence senior stakeholders across technology, business, and executive leadership
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience leading large-scale technology delivery at enterprise level
- Demonstrated delivery experience in a regulated environment such as: Banking, Financial services, Utilities
- Strong understanding of programme governance, risk, and compliance
- A pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Experience embedding delivery consistency and standards across complex organisations
- Credibility with senior stakeholders and executive teams
