And just like that, the end of 2020 has finally arrived. A year that started with so much promise quickly turned into one of the most challenging we’ve all had to endure in our lifetimes.
Covid-19 stole the headlines this year and continues to create havoc around the world. Up to now, the NZ Covid-19 experience has been very different to many other countries. We are truly blessed to be able to enjoy so many simple pleasures this Christmas season, such as having the freedom to spend quality time with our loved ones, to be able to travel to our summer holiday spots around the country and to live our lives in relative normality. New Zealand really is a special place to be right now, and for that we are grateful.
Younity believes in giving back, and in the spirit of Christmas, we’ve chosen to offer our support to those most vulnerable in our community. We’ve all seen the recent news reports referring to a huge increase in families needing help this year, including a doubling of demand for emergency food parcels and a shortage of gifts for children for those who cannot afford them. Auckland City Mission alone have fielded 70,000 phone calls in a single day from families seeking food or gifts. This demonstrates the true hardship being experienced by many of our fellow New Zealanders. For this reason, Younity has chosen to make a donation to both the Auckland City Mission and Wellington City Mission to help them provide assistance to those that need it this year.

To those clients, candidates, contractors and suppliers who we have worked with during this turbulent year, thank you, we appreciate your enduring support. We also want to acknowledge our amazing team – all of you are incredible people and we are very lucky to have you on this journey with us. We are proud to stand beside you as colleagues and friends!
