Younity has renewed it’s sponsorship of Code Camp Wellington, supporting this tech community event for another year! After a short hiatus due to Covid-19, it will now take place in the capital on Saturday, 31st October.
Younity has been a long time supporter of Code Camp, where Wellington’s coding talent and some of New Zealand’s best technology speakers come together for a fun day of learning and collaboration.
Jointly hosted by Trade Me & Xero, this free “unconference” is organised and run by volunteers for the benefit of the local technology community. For 2020, the event features four subject tracks, including ‘Code on Screen’, ‘Collaboration’, ‘Career Development’ and other ‘Cool Stuff’, with something available for everyone who attends.
Originally scheduled for April, the arrival of Covid-19 into this country meant that the conference had to be delayed. However, now that New Zealand has returned to a more normal Alert Level 1, Code Camp has been confirmed to return at the end of October, held on-site at Xero’s head office in Wellington’s CBD.
Richard Vaughan, Co-Founder of Younity says “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Code Camp and make an investment into the next generation of tech professionals. This is our way of giving something back to a community that we work with very closely. We’re proud that our support keeps this event completely free of charge and ensuring equal access for all who wish to attend”
